"The house was lovely, all that we had hoped for in a typical French country home. The setting was lovely, the pool delightful, and the view of Mount Ventoux just breathtaking. If you cannot unwind in this setting, you cannot unwind anywhere! Evelyn is a most gracious hostess, and obviously takes pride in her home, having decorated it herself."

"Charming house...stays cool on hot days, with great outdoor areas for boules, dining and pool. Walking distance to Bédoin (1 km) a plus as are terrific views of Bédoin with lighted church and full moon rising over the flank of Mt Ventoux."

"We truly did enjoy this property! The iris, roses and genet were all in bloom when we arrived. We picked ripe cherries for our lunches and took full advantage fo the outdoor eating areas. The kitchen was well-equipped and the appliances not difficult to operate. The linens provided were of good quality and the beds we found to be quite comfortable. We would certainly retain this property again and would recommend it to our friends. We managed to hit most of the markets in the area and enjoyed all of them. Should we visit this area again we would take more advantage of the wonderful foods available and do more of our own cooking. We would also visit the wine cooperative on the first day! The material you provide is wonderful!"

"The gîte is a charmingly remodeled farmhouse very tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were attentive but not intrusive. The location within walking distance of Bédoin was ideal."

"Les Sablas is comfortable and charming. We enjoyed the large pool, playing boules in the yard, and our frequent walks to Bédoin, which is one of the best villages around. The location is central for exploration, hiking, good eating, drinking, and shopping. We'd love to go back and stay even longer, savoring the lifestyle."

"We had a wonderful experience in Provence at (the owner's) house in Bédoin. The house was even better than you described -- and much more artistically and comfortably outfitted than we could tell from the pictures on the internet. In fact, it was the best of several gîtes we've rented in the last several years. The town (Bédoin) was perfect -- the right mix of stores and restaurants -- not too big or commercial."
