Le Loft

Located on the top floor (with elevator access) of a beautiful Art Nouveau building in Paris' prestigious seventh arrondissement, just a few minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and the surrounding Champ de Mars park, le Loft combines the romance and charm of a true Parisian atelier with the luxury and amenities of a completely renovated and well-appointed vacation rental.

The entrance lobby, with its beautiful period tiled floors and ornate doors, hints at the quality and taste that awaits you at le Loft.

The living and dining areas, kitchen and bathroom are located on the main level of the apartment. An interior stairway links the entry level to the spacious bedroom and small office on the upper level, which also leads to the open air terrace, with its dining table and blooming flowerpots. With its 20-foot high ceilings and open floor plan, and its traditional rooftop views over Paris, this extraordinary "garret" is filled with light and seems much larger than its approximately 540 square feet of area. The architectural highlight is the beautiful skylight, or verriére, which gives the apartment its true loft-like feel, as well as its incredible views of the Eiffel Tower.

The living room features comfortable seating, shelving units lined with books and artwork, and gleaming hardwood floors, as well as air conditioning. The kitchen, with its dining area, has been completely remodeled (kitchens and baths are this owner's forté!), and includes a four burner range, oven/microwave combination, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a full compliment of small appliances, dishware, cookware and utensils. With the famous rue Cler market street, offering a broad selection of produce stalls, meat markets, cheese shops and boulangeries, just a few minutes' walk from the apartment, guests will find themselves grabbing their market baskets for a quick stroll and then returning with the freshest ingredients possible for a wonderful meal prepared in the fully appointed kitchen to be enjoyed on le Loft's peaceful outdoor terrace.

Up a short flight of stairs lies the mezzanine level, where the office area (with access to the apartment's high-speed internet connection) and bedroom (furnished with a very comfortable double bed). Experience the incredible views through le Loft's verrière, or skylight, as you wake every morning, or watch the glimmering lights of the Eiffel Tower at night, as the lights change color each hour until extinguished as the day finally ends.

A charming, and by Parisian standards, quite large, patio/terrace is also located on the loft's upper level, and provides a quiet, and very, very scenic, spot for enjoying your morning café au lait or evening glass of wine. Le Loft is an unparalleled choice for travelers demanding comfort, convenience, location and, above all, the romance of Paris.

The famous rue Cler market, with its shops and open-air produce, gourmet cheese and artisan bakery stalls, is a few short blocks away.

The ever-present Eiffel Tower and the adjacent Parc du Champ du Mars, great for strolling, picnics or watching European football at the childhood level, are within walking distance, as are some of Paris' best cafes, boulangeries and bistros. Access to the metro is just a few minutes' walk from the apartment, making le Loft an incredibly convenient and centrally located home base for up to four guests seeking a truly unique experience in the City of Lights.
