"The location of our apartment was marvelous! We walked to rue Cler every morning to buy bread and fruit for breakfast, and often in the evening for fresh fish or wonderful picnic items from the Italian traitteur, the cheese specialist, the wine store, etc., to take over to the park by the Champ de Mars to watch the Eiffel Tower lightshow as it was getting dark...Lovely memories...great neighborhood for the novice..."
