This lovely, one-level apartment, with its hand-painted patiné and trompe l'oeil walls, pastel colors and thoughtful mix of modern fixtures and antique furnishings, combines the ambiance of 1930's Paris with the comforts and amenities of a recently renovated and stylishly decorated property. With approximately 800 square feet of area and its open floor plan, the apartment is spacious and filled with light, and offers the inviting ambiance and charm of a bygone era unique to the historic Montmartre neighborhood.

The open living and dining areas feature floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors and charming architectural accents. A second salon, separated from the main living areas by glass double doors, is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, and can be used as a third bedroom by guests requiring additional sleeping accommodations for larger groups.

The apartment is furnished throughout with comfortable contemporary pieces and local antiques, as well as a television, with cable and English-language channels, DVD and CD players and stereo. A personal computer, with high-speed internet access, is available for guests' use; unfortunately, the internet system is incompatible with MAC laptops.

The spacious and elegantly decorated dining area has seating for six, and provides an inviting space for entertaining. Two comfortable armchairs in the dining room convert to twin beds, giving the apartment a sleeping capacity of up to eight.

With its large windows and tiled countertops, the kitchen is light and bright, and is fully equipped with quality appliances, including a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, four burner stove, washing machine and dryer, as well as a full compliment of small appliances, such as a microwave, coffee maker and juicer, and all the glassware, dishes, pots, pans and utensils a guest might need to prepare full gourmet meals or simple snacks.

The master bedroom, furnished with a queen bed boasting a beautiful antique headboard, is tastefully decorated and furnished in true Parisian style. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, lovely furnishings, and views of Paris. A balcony runs the length of both bedrooms, with views to the Sacré Coeur and its gardens.

There are two recently renovated bathrooms, both modern and designed with your comfort in mind. One bathroom has a bathtub with a wall-mounted shower and the second with an American-style "stall" shower.

The location, just steps from the Sacré Coeur, is perfect for travelers wanting to explore Paris from a "home base" in the heart of lively Montmartre, considered by many to be one of the most romantic spots in Paris. With its narrow winding streets, long history of famous artists, outdoor markets, cafes and ecclectic boutiques, Montmartre offers a small village ambiance within a big city, and a flavor and character unique in Paris.

There are numerous restaurants, cafés, wine bars, food shops, and specialty stores within a few steps of the apartment. Two metro stops are conveniently located near the apartment, and provide easy access to the center of Paris.

NOTE THAT PRICES ARE BASED ON OCCUPANCY OF THE APARTMENT BY NO MORE THAN FOUR GUESTS; ADDITIONAL GUESTS ARE PERMITTED (UP TO A TOTAL OF EIGHT) AT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE. AS WITH MOST OF OUR PROPERTIES, NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THIS APARTMENT, AND PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
